The theme I am going to use throughout the semester is the idea of nightlife. The darker colors like blue, purple and greens. With objects like the moon, stars, woods, owls, things you see at night. I love the moon so it will show up in many of my pieces.
Dimensions: 9" 13". I used white charcoal and prisma colors on black paper. I actually really like it. There was nothing I believe went wrong. I rather black and white pictures but after applying the color I did end up being pleased with it.
I love the medium that you used because it's rather different than any I've seen done in class. After watching you do this project I could tell that it was much more easier and faster to do than the eraser charcoal project. I wish that you would have challenged yourself a little bit more because it seemed practically too simple to do. After you added in the color, it looks so much better. As a suggestion, it might look better if you smeared the blue and violet in the sky to where it fills the whole sky.
